Limited 5 year warranty the new home sewing machine company warrants this janome sewing machine head for a period of 5 years from the date of original purchase against defects in material or workmanship with the exception of the electrical and/or electronic equipment which is warranted for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase. During such periods of limited warranty the defective parts will be replaced free of charge but at your cost for labor, postage and transportation. For service under this warranty, simply contact the authorized janome/new home dealer from which the purchase was made or us at the following address. (this address is also available if you have questions regarding any of this warranty. ): the new home sewing machine company 10 industrial avenue mahwah, nj 07430 this sewing machine is warranted only in normal household (non-commerical) use, and needles, belts, knives, loopers, needle plates and light bulbs are not included in this warranty. This warranty does not cover failures caused by improper maintenance or repair, abuse, normal wear and tear, misuse, or events beyond our control. This warranty extends only to the consumer who has originally purchased this sewing machine from an authorized janome/new home dealer. The names and addresses of authorized janome/new home dealers are available upon request.
