In this guide
Okay, friends, ticket day has come and gone. The general on-sale for Lola Young's Everything Begins Tour opened this past Friday, October 9, and if your weekend was anything like mine, it was equal parts queue anxiety and replaying "Messy" at full volume. Whether you came out of Friday with tickets or you're still circling the seat map, this is your guide to what's next: the dates, a couple of things happening way sooner than spring, and the gear I'd line up for the countdown.
The tour, in a nutshell
According to JamBase, the 17-show run kicks off April 6, 2027 at The Pinnacle in Nashville and wraps May 4 at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. Along the way she plays Radio City Music Hall in New York on April 12, two nights at Toronto's Massey Hall, and stops in Chicago, Denver, Seattle and more. California fans get two nights: Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco on May 1 and the Greek on May 4. Sofia and the Antoinettes open.
mxdwn points out that Radio City and the Greek are her biggest US rooms yet, which feels so earned. "Messy" went 2x Platinum and hit No. 1 on US Pop Airplay, and these venues finally match the size of that song.
The part that gets me most is that this is a comeback. JamBase notes she stepped away from her touring plans in late 2025, then returned this past May with "From Down Here," a new single produced by James Blake. Seeing an artist take the time she needed and come back to her biggest stages yet? I'm emotional and the tour hasn't even started.
Missed Friday? Don't panic yet
Tickets were sold through Ticketmaster and AXS, and both are still the first place I'd check. My honest advice for this week:
- Check the official sellers first. Availability changes as holds get released, so look again before you give up on a date.
- Be careful with resale. If you go that route, stick with platforms that guarantee your tickets, and compare a few before you buy.
- Watch for added dates. Nothing new has been announced as of this writing, but a second night in a big city is never off the table when the demand is there. Follow Lola's socials so you hear first.
You don't have to wait until April
This is my favorite part, because there's Lola to enjoy right now:
- Her Austin City Limits taping. ACL livestreamed her Season 52 debut on YouTube Friday night (yes, same day as the on-sale, what a day). The full episode premieres on PBS early next year, with songs from This Wasn't Meant For You Anyway and her latest album in the set.
- A Los Angeles show next week. Chappell Roan just announced the lineup for her Super Graphic Spectacular, a two-night benefit for her non-profit, The Midwest Princess Project, supporting trans youth and LGBTQ+ communities. According to mxdwn, Lola is on the Wednesday, October 21 night alongside Tinashe, and SPIN reports the event is at the Shrine in LA. Tickets are available through the Midwest Princess Project page on Chappell's website. SoCal friends, this is not a drill.
Gear for the listening era (aka now through April)
Every tour has a pregame era, and mine is spent re-listening to the whole catalog until I know every ad-lib. Lola's vocals have so much grit and texture, and good noise cancelling lets you actually hear it on a loud commute instead of turning the volume all the way up.
- Bose QuietComfort Earbuds (Petal Pink, Limited Edition): Bose noise cancelling, up to 8.5 hours of listening per charge, and an IPX4 rating, so a sweaty walk to the venue is fine. You can tune the EQ in the Bose app, and the pink is very much the vibe.
- Bose QuietComfort Headphones (2nd Gen): if you're an over-ear person, these add lossless listening over wired USB-C, TrueSpatial for a wider soundstage, and up to 24 hours of battery with noise cancelling on. The Eucalyptus Green is very spring-tour-outfit coded.
Gear for the creator era
Let's be real: half the fun of a big tour is the content. Ticket-reveal videos, cover clips, "what I'm wearing to the show" vlogs, and the post-concert "I'm still not okay" recap with your bestie. If you want that stuff to sound good, your phone's built-in mic is the weak link.
- Shure MV88 USB-C Mobile Microphone: it plugs straight into a USB-C phone and works with Shure's MOTIV apps, so you can adjust tone and save presets. Auto Level Mode keeps your levels steady, which is exactly what you want when you're singing a Lola cover in your bedroom and suddenly go for the big note.
- Shure MoveMic Two Wireless Lavalier Mics (2-Pack): two clip-on mics that pair with your iPhone or Android through Shure's MOTIV apps. They're built for two-person content, so you and your concert buddy can each clip one on for the ticket-reveal reaction or the drive-home debrief. Each mic gets up to 8 hours per charge, and the charging case tops them up.
One quick, very important note: save the content for before and after the show. Every venue has its own camera and recording policy, so check before you bring anything beyond your phone. Once Lola is onstage, put the phone down and actually be there. That's the whole point!
My countdown game plan
This week: check Ticketmaster and AXS one more time if you're still hunting, and if you're in LA, look into the October 21 show. Then catch the ACL episode when it hits PBS, learn every word of "From Down Here," and start the countdown to April.
If you want to upgrade your listening or creator setup before spring, everything above is linked and ships fast from right here in California, with next-day delivery in the continental US. See you at the show, friends!
